Men's Watch?
The watch itself is gorgeous and it's getting a lot of compliments. I purchased this for my boyfriend and he's an average sized man however he has to wear the watch on either of the two last notches. Almost like the watch was made for teens or something. But other than that it's very nice.

Timex Watch review
I was disappointed in this watch, but only because I didn't read the specifics and made my purchase on the image of the watch. In the image, the watch face appears black. It is not. It is gray. And I also like thin watches...low profile I guess. This one is a little thicker than I desired. I'm not one to return things, so I'll keep it. I like watches. Simple watches. Watches without numbers that are thin. I have a couple great Seiko's that fit the bill, and I unfortunately thought this was in the same ballpark but at a much cheaper price. YOu get what you pay for. I'll probably give this to a nephew or something.

Good looking watch that kept excellent time for 4 years

Cons: Didn't last forever!
Comments: I bought this watch in 2005, and it ran perfectly for 4 years (I replaced the leather band once, and one battery as well). It kept superb time - only a few seconds per month deviation, so I rarely had to adjust it. It finally died after 4 years, with occasional halts then finally just stopped working (even though the battery was replaced, and the Indiglo was bright). From the other comments I see here I may have been a bit lucky, but I liked this watch well enough that I am going to buy another one.

Poor contrast
As beautiful as the watch is, I find the (lack of) contrast of the silver hands on the dark face makes it sometimes hard to read.

Gifting expertise
I bought this watch for my anniversary as a gift for my lover. He simply loves the watch and wears it everywhere since it's very casual, yet it's suave enough to wear to work and such. It does have a nice "green" backlight to it and metal-pieces for the numbers are very nice. Great buy!

What Time is it anyway
I have rated this watch one star, but it really ought to be one-half star. First, let's start with the pros-Amazon's service (It was delivered as promised) and its looks (It's a very attractive watch). Now the cons-The watch loses one-half hour per day in time. The face, numerals and hands are so similar that you really can't see what time it is without really focusing carefully on the watch. The date window is so small that you can only see the right hand number so the first, eleventh, twenty-first and thirty-first look the same unless you twist your wrist around. The watch face is full size and extends fully across my wrist, but the straps are so short that for my wrist, a normal sized wrist, you are in the second or third hold in the strap at best. The watch feels fragile; I don't even sleep in it and I never shower in it, play tennis with it on, wash dishes.
I have returned the original watch to Amazon and received a new one as a replacement. (How smart was that?) The hope is that this new watch will keep better time and that Amazon is not going to charge me for two watches. I will live with not being able to distinguish the hands or make out the date. Obviously, I will have to order a new strap that fits. I have had the new watch for three days and so far it has only lost two minutes and that may be do to using different clocks to set and compare it with.
I am looking to get a year's use from the watch, at which time the battery dies anyway.

It couldn't have been simpler to order and I was absolutely delighted with the speed of delivery and the excellent packaging. The watch itself is clear to read and beautiful to wear. The clasp is particularly easy to fit and comfortable to wear.

Skagen fan is pleased again
I'm happy, as usual, with this watch. It's a great value and beautiful, clean design. I owned my last one for about 15 yrs.
The only thing people should know is that the date window is so tiny it's virtually impossible to see. I don't use it, so it's not a problem for me, but if you regularly forget what day it is.....

nice watch
This is my second skagen watch. The fist one lasted about 10 years and might have lasted longer if I had not gone in the shower with it. The water resistant claim is not accurate so be careful when washing hands etc.
Skagen watches are all elegant and comfortable to wear. The band is easily adjustable.
On this watch the bezel is small, which makes it hard to adjust the time when going throuh timezones.
This a great every day watch and excellent value for the price paid.

Great Gift
I bought this watch for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. The package was delivered RIGHT on time and the watch was looking perfect. It did end up being a little too big for him, but it was easy enough to get the extra links removed. So far everythings good.

Nice, sturdy watch
This is a classy dress watch at a great price. I'm usually put off by the cheap gold tone on similar watches, but this one doesn't look cheap. The dial is biggish, so it may not look nice on small wrists.

Great Watch at ANY price!
I've had mine for 10 years now, never had a problem, and still works great! Keeps good time, only have to adjust for Daylight Saving Time and Leap Year. When I purchased mine, they were going for 0.00. At this price, it's a steal!

Great Watch
My husband received a watch just like this on his retirement and has worn it every day for 8 years. It's looking a little worn, so he wondered if he could find a watch he likes as much - and was thrilled to be able to find the exact same watch - so it made a perfect Christmas present - and a strong endorsement of the watch.

Great watch
I obtained this at a great price and it has been durable. I had a Seiko look-a-like and it only lasted 5 years before a numeral dislodged on the face of the watch and the gold cover chipped easily and look terrible. I am sure this watch will hold-up at least as well as the Seiko at a lower cost.

Amazing
This is one of the nicest looking watches you will find. I looked at more expensive Movado watches, but I just could not find any that looked quite as nice. The quality of this watch is excellent. My only complaint is the clasp on the band. It can be annoying at first, but I have gotten used to it.

Great Watch
I've had this watch for around 2-3 years, and mine just broke. I'm considering getting a replacement. Considering the price of the watch, i've gotten NUMEROUS complements on the watch over the years, and most people think it cost a lot more than it did. It wore a little over the years, but not too badly.

On mine, the seal broke and condensation got into the watch. I think this also caused some type of mechanical malfunction, because the watch no longer is accurate.

That is the only reason why it is 4 stars instead of 5.. if you get a real, quality watch, it probably shouldn't break like this within a few years.

If you want a great looking watch at a good price, and don't mind that you are sacrificing a little bit of quality for fashion, i'd say but it immediately, you won't be disappointed.

great gift, good taste
I got this watch as the wedding gift for my soon-to-be husband. I love the watch when I opened it up and could not wait to give the watch to him until wedding day comes. It needs to take out some links anyway and I want him to wear it on the wedding day, so I have to break the surprise. He absolutely loves it when he puts the watch on. He said it looks expensive. And he loves it so light. It does look more than what it actually costs. Other review said it comes w/o battery. I thought this is mechanic watch and you need to wind it 6 or 7 times before you wear it (said in the manual). Over all, I'm very pleased with the service and quality. I definitely highly recommend this watch for gift or personal use.

A Perfect Watch for a Perfect Taste
This Bulova is an amazingly beautiful work of art. I would definitely like to know the artist who created it. The diamonds look just great, and for this price, believe me, you won't find anything better on the web. On your hand it looks even better than how it looks in the photo, because it doesn't let you appreciate the fine detail. The one thing that I would fix is that the Bulova website says you can use it 30 meters below the water, however, the watch itself only reads "Water Resistant", so you really don't know if you can submerge it or not. For this perfect watch I would say "Simple is beatiful!".
